Appointment of new Executive Director
FROM 2 JANUARY 2024

Kaylee Kua

We are pleased to share that Daughters Of Tomorrow (DOT) has appointed Kaylee Kua as the new Executive Director, starting 2 January 2024. Kaylee took on the interim Executive Director role on 1 July 2023 and had worked tirelessly to lead DOT in its work for the community that we serve. This appointment is made after a comprehensive search for the best candidate for this important role.

As a fast-growing agency, DOT is expected to perform as a ‘role model’ and set new standards for the communities that we serve. After searching for the right candidate for close to a year, the DOT Board believes that Kaylee is the perfect fit at the helm. Equipped with her extensive experience working with hundreds of beneficiaries and her intimate knowledge of DOT, Kaylee will continue to work with the team to create an agency where our staff has space to grow and excel for the women we serve.

A pioneer of DOT, Kaylee had spent close to eight years in various capacities including Program Operations, Employment Bridging, Train & Place programs in Eldercare, Home-based Childminding and even IT System deployment and support. Her versatility has served DOT well. Kaylee looks forward to continuing her work with us at DOT and is committed to DOT’s vision of empowering women through financial independence. She will continue to work with industry partners to create opportunities and promote a more inclusive workplace for women so that low income families can be enabled with mobility.

Following her new appointment, Kaylee shares, “My focus for DOT this year is to improve the social and economic mobility of the lower 20th percentile of women population in Singapore. Having spent over eight years working with workforce-related agencies, volunteers and community resources to understand the practical constraints of underprivileged women, it is an immense privilege to work with the team and DOT’s eco-system of partners, to bring the work of DOT to new heights. We will continue to innovate and stay relevant so as to strengthen support for these women, while creating an environment to deliver high impact and growth.”

DOT remains committed to providing opportunities for women and facilitating their path towards social mobility. We look forward to your continued support and engagement and would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your partnership in creating a greater impact for many more women and families in this next phase.
