2021 is set against a bleak crisis and dire consequences sweeping the globe. Hence, in light of this and in conjunction with our 7th anniversary coming up, Daughters Of Tomorrow is inviting everyone to nominate women with empowering stories that will inspire and ignite hope in our hearts. 

The 21 finalists’ stories will highlight journeys that are earmarked with bravery, resilience, strength and all other mind blowing traits that make this world a lot more amazing by just having these women in it. Despite trying circumstances, they are standing tall, living life to the fullest, supporting themselves, their families and contributing to the larger community. This is a defining moment. You could be nominating yourself or another friend/ colleague/ family member.

Fiza O is a TV host and a digital content creator. She just left her radio career of 18 years as a senior producer and presenter to pursue her love of content producing and to be a full time Youtuber. She is best known for championing women topics and issues for more than 10 years now since her radio days. She has hosted regional music award stages such as Anugerah Planet Muzik, the Nation’s Countdown, and other prestigious events graced by political leaders. Fiza O remains one of the most recognizable faces and voices in the Malay community.

Dr Ling Ka Yi

Dr Ling Ka Yi is a developmental and stem cell biologist with over 10 years expertise. In August 2018, she co-founded a cell-based crustaceans startup called Shiok Meats, along with Dr Sandhya Sriram. She was recognized as one of the MIT Tech Review’s “Innovators under 35 in Asia” 2020, the “Women and the Ocean: Changemakers” challenge 2020”, the Great Women Of Our Times 2020 by Women Weekly, and Gen T list 2020.

Founder, Kew Organics
Lily Kew is the founder and CEO of two homegrown organic beauty brands - Kew Organics and Sugar K Organic Peel Bar. There are a total of 5 spas in Singapore and an online store serving international customers. Being a late bloomer, she started her business from scratch at 43, launched her organic skincare product line and gave birth at 45. As a winner of Women Entrepreneur Award 2018 and Spirit Of Enterprise Award 2019, she crossed the million mark shortly in 4 years and gave birth to her 2nd child at 48. Even during the pandemic, she continues to push boundaries for global expansion. She is one great example of overcoming all odds and living to the fullest.

Munah Bagharib entered the entertainment business as a television actress and one half of YouTube duo, MunahHirziOfficial, a channel in which she co-hosted satirical videos on social and political topics. She has gone on to become a prolific actress on both television and stage, with her recent film debut in Tiong Bahru Social Club. Munah also received critical acclaim for her performance in Nassim Soleimanpour’s experimental improvisation piece, White Rabbit Red Rabbit. She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at The Straits Times Life! Theatre Awards (2019) for her performance in Potong.
