Noor Shuhadah Suradi

The Changemaker

Tenacious and enterprising, Hadah defies convention. Throughout her married life, she has had to make major decisions around a maintaining a career and being a wife and a mother.

At 22, Hadah felt she was ready for marriage but faced criticisms from her community for marrying at a young age. Unfazed by societal pressure, she continued to pursue marriage and a full-time career.

Highly talented, Hadah rose up the ranks and became a Business Development and Operations Manager. However, as a caregiver to her young children, she decided to forego a full-time position to focus on raising her family. Determined to balance work and parenting, she persevered, planned and tried out new ways to manage.

Despite putting a promising career on hold, Hadah did not give up her career ambitions. She continued to hone her leadership and entrepreneurial skills and found creative ways to upgrade herself. She took up leadership roles in community groups and started a home-based food business, HadahCooks and is a Sales and Marketing Manager for an enrichment centre.

In her spare time, she is pursuing a diploma in Social Media and Business Marketing, is a Chairwoman of her child’s school parent support group and is an active Soccermum for Admiralty Community Sports Club (CSC) where she recruits volunteers and players and organises and coordinates soccer events. She was awarded the ‘Most Promising Leader’ award from Admiralty CSC organised by People’s Association.
