One of Norlin’s favourite quotes is “If you want to see the rainbow, you’ve got to put up with the rain.” It makes sense that this is her favourite quote — Norlin is one that doesn’t shy away from challenges.

Norlin was previously working at the same job for nine years before she was referred to DOT to attend our Confidence Curriculum after some financial difficulties. It was at DCC where Norlin flourished. She absorbed everything like a sponge and was eventually hired by Quilt.AI, a prominent IT firm. Despite the quantum leap she had to take jumping into this job, Norlin kept her head up, adapting and learning along the way.

Norlin has also taken on the role as a community leader at DOT. She’s always willing to lend a listening ear and dispense her wise advice. Seeing the community of women at DOT grow and strengthen together, imbibing a spirit of helping one another, has driven Norlin’s passion for community service.
